Summerland is a community of over 11,000 in the South Okanagan-Similkameen Regional District. Located on the southwest side of Okanagan Lake between Kelowna and Penticton, Summerland is known for great year-round weather, beaches, golf courses, and fantastic wineries. Lake Country BC is a Central Okanagan community with 15,000 residents on the east side of the Lake Okanagan between Kelowna and Vernon. 5. Westside Road

Westside Road is a long stretch of windy road that runs along the west side of Lake Okanagan between Kelowna and Vernon, BC. Starting around the north side of Bear Creek Park, most homes on Westside Road are outside of the West Kelowna city limits and are thus exempt from the speculation tax.

Some of the best places to own lakefront property on Westside Road are the remote lakeside communities of Wilson Landing, Fintry, Nahun and Killiney Beach.

6. McKinley Landing, Kelowna BC
